The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the messages of some of the major and minor prophets, and to provide guidelines and ideas in interpreting the prophetic corpus for personal study and for ministry activities. The course outlines many of the major historical and theological developments necessary to understand the messages of the prophets. The course includes reading much of the prophetic material from the Old Testament and a supplementary textbook.
