OTX 1011 Old Testament Introduction VC Term 3 2024-25

This course will enable the student to gain a clearer understanding of the Old Testament as whole, as well as its parts. Students will gain factual knowledge that can be passed along so that all can better know the God of the Old Testament and share His good news with others. The student will gain knowledge about the structure, content, history, and geography of the Old Testament.

PMX 3031 Expository Preaching VC Term 3 2024-25

This course focuses primarily on helping students acquire the interpretive skills and exegetical acumen needed to engage the meaning of biblical texts and to then convey that meaning through expository preaching in relevant manners to congregations. The course provides practical and theoretical foundations for expository preaching, particularly exegesis. Students will learn to differentiate the main idea of expository preaching from other preaching methods. Students will also practice the craft of preaching and sermon analysis.
