  • Lesson 3: Crafting A Testimony

...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

    1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

This lesson addresses the importance of sharing a personal testimony as a key part of the Plan of Salvation. Dr. Lo shares the ABCD approach to giving a testimony, which stands for audible, brief, Christ-centered, and dependent upon God. He suggests that a testimony should be around three to four minutes long, centered on Jesus Christ, and include three parts: what the person was like before knowing Christ, their decision to accept Christ, and the changes that have occurred since becoming a follower. Dr. Lo highlights that the most important part of a testimony is the latter part, which describes the impact of accepting Jesus Christ.
